I build ML systems
that work in research and in production.
I'm a researcher and engineer working at the intersection of computer vision, geoinformatics, and ML infrastructure. I care about building systems that are both scientifically rigorous and actually work in production.
Experience
Where I've worked
Research Assistant
Working under Professor Weiming Hu at the Lab for Geoinformatics and AI Modeling.
Cloud Engineer
Embedded with Amazon Lab126's cloud infrastructure team, I built and maintained the backend systems that keep consumer hardware products connected and reliable. It's where I learned what it actually means to run software at scale and how to build scalable infrastructure.
Web Development Intern
Early career engineering work that gave me a solid foundation in building infrastructure for real users with real constraints.
A bit about me
I'm finishing my MS in Computer Science at UGA in July 2026, where I've spent the last couple of years working on computer vision, geoinformatics and ML infrastructure.
Before academia, I was a cloud engineer in industry. That combination is something I think about a lot: most ML research never ships, and most production systems never benefit from the latest research. I want to build things that live in both worlds.
Outside of work, I play badminton, and spend time thinking about film making and photography. Occasionally, I write about whatever's on my mind.
